April 16th, 2009Chris Doyle wallpaper and new Ride UK

Chris Doyle, jumping something big. SRC: Ride UK
Inside the issue it’s packed with pretty varied features. Paul Ryan, Liverpool’s latest wonderkid has a full interview. Corey Martinez, Ian Morris and James Cox document the current status of the filming for ‘This is United’. John Dye took the Bicycle Union crew to mainland europe once again, but this time went tit for tat with the Movment crew from the South West England. James Newrick has been busy in the North, working away on an interview with Newcastle rider, The Count. Meanwhile, further from out shores, our new staff photographer Walter Pieringer spent some time in Thailand with Chris Doyle, Aaron Ross, Brian Kachinski and Gary Young.

December 23rd, 2008Travel Essentials with Chris Doyle
This one almost got lost in the digital black hole, but every so often, my brain actually works and I remember to back things up onto the ever-faithful Ride server. Did you know that some random dude shows up to the office every month or so, takes the server backup tapes, and locks them in some bomb proof mountain safe? Seriously. Anyway, I spent a bit of time with Chris Doyle this year on the Kink road trip up to Canada and the DC Shoes Trails Trip in the Northwest. We talked about lap dances, Olive Garden, mud butt, and I think we even slept in the same bed (I don’t snore). On the final night of the DC Trails Trip, we threw together this little list of what keeps Doyle moderately sane when he’s on the road for a long period of time. Maybe you’ll learn something. Maybe you’ll just gawk at the one riding photo that I included. It’s a doozy.

December 5th, 2008Chris Doyle interview

Bicycle Union has the words and Chris Doyle has the top-sides
What you been doing in these winter months? It went from Fall to Winter overnight, I’m still adjusting. I’ve been so lazy lately. Been riding a little, too much time on the internet, not enough time digging, plan to do some snowboard missions, and hopefully take some trips to warmer climates this winter with and without the bike.
